چکیده
Objective: This study aimed to investigate if the Homocysteine has recently been proposed as a serious predictive biomarker for Covid-19 infection severity. Method: In this case-control study, which involved 90 participants, 5 ml of venous blood specimen was reserved each participant, measure homocysteine, troponin-I, and high sensitive C-reactive protein in their blood, find there an association between these markers levels COVID-19 by using STATA version 23. Results: The current found significant increase measured values homocysteine patients' serum than controls P-value = 0.004 is < alpha (0.05) with area under curve 0.678, also cardiac troponin-I; hs-CRP patients controls, P-values were 0.02 0.00 respectively are 0.686 0.739 respectively. Conclusion: noted strong severity many articles, showed that had moderate infection. Cardiac troponin-I infection, while good biomarker. Many studies reported mortality rate patients.

Background and Objective: Brucellosis is a main transmittable zoonotic disease, which is endemic, and a common health burden in Iran. Adenosine deaminase (ADA) is an essential enzyme which is involved in purine metabolism and its role in immune system is very important. The aim of this study was to determine serum changes of ADA and C-reactive protein (CRP) levels in patients with brucellosi...

Background: homocysteine and highly sensitive C-reactive protein (CRP) are two novel cardiovascular risk factors that induce atherosclerosis and myocardial infarction through inflammatory mechanisms. The aim of this study was to comparison of levels of these variables among athlete and nonathlete veterans. Methods: in this cross-sectional study two groups of athletes (N=8) and nonathlete (N=8) ...
متن کاملThe Serum High-Sensitive C Reactive Protein and Homocysteine Levels to Evaluate the Prognosis of Acute Ischemic Stroke
Ischemic stroke is one of the most common causes of death worldwide and is most often caused by thrombotic processes. We investigated the changes in hsCRP and homocysteine levels, two of these risk factors, during the acute period of ischemic stroke and evaluated the relationship between these levels and the short-term prognosis. HsCRP and homocysteine levels were measured at the 2nd, 5th, and ...
